Edinburgh is linked to the rest of the UK by an excellent rail network – you can travel directly form London, Glasgow, York, Newcastle, Manchester, and many other cities and towns.
Edinburgh’s Waverley Station is located just off Princes Street, and is just a 5-minute taxi trip to Pilrig House. The fare should cost £5-£7.
You can fly direct to Edinburgh from most UK cities, including, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Belfast. Pilrig House is around 12 miles from the airport.
We have negotiated a fixed price of £25 with the carbon-neutral cab firm EdinaCARS (click to prebook) to collect you at the airport and bring you direct to Pilrig House. You can book a saloon car or a people carrier - the price is the same. The cab driver will greet you, holding up a board with your name on it.
From the bus station at St Andrew's Square, you are a 5-minute taxi trip from Pilrig House. The fare will cost approx. £5-£7.
